Saracione Monarch M40 4" Lefty Kreh SpecialA nice Saracione Monarch M40 fly reel called the "Lefty Kreh Special", set up for LHW (though I believe these can be converted). 4" diameter with a 1" spool width. Direct drive. Near mint+ condition. Good used condition with some cosmetic wear on the frame, spool, and sideplates. The interior of the spool shows some corrosion. Brushed aluminum frame with a black full range drag adjustment knob. Cork drag. Comes in the original leather sheepskin lined
The rod features beautifully tempered cane
The cane is impregnated and is a wheat straw color in a three up node pattern
and oil cap
Rod comes with Bob's signature handmade cap-and-ring hardware and hand-flatted slide band reel seat
The dark brown agate line guide is crack-free
to my eye at least
Interestingly
The ribbed brass foot has been very slightly filed
An 8' 2/2 5-6wt based on a Pinky Gillum taper
